About Fix Up Fleet

Who We Are

By day I work a desk job, but my real passion is cars. Over two decades of driving, I’ve owned more vehicles than I can count — from Subarus to kei trucks to my 1969 MGB GT. Some stick around for years, others move on after a quick fix.

After Covid and the birth of my son, I found myself spending more time in the garage. My MGB became my first long-term project, and since then I’ve added a Honda Acty kei truck, kept an aging Lexus on the road, and cycled through a few Subarus. Together they embody the Fix Up Fleet spirit: buy a car, fix it up, drive it, repeat.

What We Are (and Aren’t)

We believe keeping vehicles alive is better than buying new. Cars and trucks aren’t just transportation — they’re projects, challenges, and companions. This site is for people juggling more than one rig at a time — farmers, DIYers, tinkerers, and anyone who loves solving problems and keeping old iron on the road.

We’re not here for trends, politics, or posturing. Just regular people sharing regular projects, with a sense of fun.

Support Fix Up Fleet

Fixing cars and running a site costs money. If you find Fix Up Fleet useful, you can support us by using affiliate links, checking out partners, or leaving a contribution. Some links are affiliate, which means I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. I only recommend tools, gear, and parts I trust on my own fleet.

Thanks for being here. Let’s fix up some cars.
